CALIFORNIA OR BUST!

Last night, on the Moon, I had the delightful opportunity of meeting two great guys, Jeremy and Ryan.

My daughter had called me from Cleveland, earlier in the week, and told me that some friends of hers were driving from Cleveland Ohio to Oakland California, and that they would be coming through Oklahoma City, where we here, at Tranquillity Base, reside. She asked me if we minded if her friends could stay the night at our house, before hitting the road again the next morning. Well, of course they were welcome to stay the night, and now I feel so thankful to have been able to meet them.

Jeremy and Ryan were such gracious guests, and we had a fantastic visit with them. They were so nice to bring us two bottles of sweet delicious white wine, one with the name of "Blue Moon", which I really thought was so clever and thoughtful.

We talked about alot of different subjects, one of which is my favorite, MY daughter, Tamara. Jeremy informed me of so many wonderful things that she had done and was doing, that even I didn't know about. He said that she was the most phenomenal minister he's ever known. He said that her deliverance, charm, and subject matter was the best. He said that she totally captures the attention and love of her congregation and that even the prime minister there, realizes her power and worth.

Jeremy has been a member of her congregation for a year now and has been by her side much of that time. Since he is getting ready to go to seminary school in Oakland, he was really thankful to have had the chance to see and be a part of her realm. (He also told me that he wasn't just saying this just because I was her mother!)

He told me that he had learned alot from her and that they had alot of things in common. He was telling me this because he felt it to be the truth, and that she truly was this good in what she does. He did tell me though, that she is a bit too hard on herself, which does not surprise me a bit!

So, needless to say, I am very proud of Tamara and cannot wait until I have the opportunity to see her in all her glory, guiding her loving congregation. I must admit though, I had better have a BIG box of tissues with me, because I will be crying the mother's tears of pride.

So, after having our wonderful glass of wine and our awe-inspiring conversation, I pointed out the places for them to get some shut-eye, and we all called it a night. Then this morning they quietly got up, knowing that we sleep in late, showered and sneaked out of the house and got on their way, and I never heard a thing.

Tonight they will be staying with some of their friends in Albuquerque New Mexico, and then onward to California. CALIFORNIA OR BUST!

I was so delighted to meet these wonderful guys, Jeremy and Ryan, and I hope that someday our paths will cross again.
