SWEET LITTLE BABY PANDA

Here on the Moon, we have been enjoying, watching a sweet little baby Panda, that was born to his mother, Mei Xiang, on July 9th, 2005.

The baby panda lives with his mommy at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park. There are two cameras set up to watch him and his mommy, 24 hours a day.

We have enjoyed watching the baby panda, nurse his mommy, get bathed by his mommy, and get held and loved by his mommy. He is a very lucky little boy. His mommy loves him very much, you can tell.

The baby panda will finally have a name announced on October 17th. Many people have voted on this and his name will be chosen from the votes. He deserves a good name. He is so precious.

The baby panda does sleep alot right now and can barely get up on all four legs, to crawl. He mainly just moves around in a little circle, until his mommy comes in and moves him to where she wants him to be.

You have got to take time to go and watch this little miracle. It's so fun to watch and see this wonderful animal behavior happening live and with sound, right there in your own home.
