Living happily ever after

Here on the Moon I find that life's greatest rewards come from giving to those who you hold most dear.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the reaction and excitement my wife has had with her new VehiCross. I also love the reception I get from the Brats when I come home from a long day at work.

Celeigh has been happy with her new haircut and today Katana got hers. Bailey looks jealous...Maybe next week. Of course Maleena was made perfect and doesn't require anything for maintenance.

Everything in life is looking better everyday. I just wanted to take a moment to relish in all my glory. Thanks for reading!!

Until we meet again.....Greetings and Salutations from the Moon....Tj

SAFE...SOUND...AND BEA-U-TI-FUL!!

Happy...Happy...Happy!! Yep, that's what I am, I am.

My VehiCross arrived safely and Bea-U-ti-Ful, thanks to my husband who drove it all the way from Ames Iowa, to here on the Moon.

He told me that it handled those 600 miles without a strain. It took to the highway and liked it.

He said it was actually somewhat a chore, keeping it controlled to the speed limit. He said it really liked the open road and just wanted to go fast! (I guess it was trying to get out of Iowa)

But it's safe and sound now, here on the Moon.

And again, wasn't that so very sweet of my husband to fly all the way to Iowa, buy the Vehicross, and then drive all day long, on his day off from work, just to get it for me?

You can't beat a deal (or a husband) like that. He and the VehiCross are the best!

I am truly a lucky girl.....and very muched loved. Thank you Sweetie!!

Until we meet again.....Greetings and Salutations from the Moon....................Lj tee hee hee!

AMES IOWA OR BUST!!

Here on the moon today, I am very excited!

My husband is on a flight to Ames Iowa, as I write this. He is going to Ames to purchase a very rare vehicle for me that I have been searching for. Finally, after months and months of searching and dealing with several different dealerships, we found one of these rare beauties in excellent shape, and very low miles.

He will be landing in Des Moines today at 5:30 pm and the salesman will drive from Ames to Des Moines, about 35 miles, to pick him up, from the airport, and take him to the Super 8 Motel, in Ames. Of course, neither knows what the other looks like. My husband told him that he would be wearing a Honda hat and the salesman told my husband that he would be wearing a yellow shirt. It should be fun trying to find one another.

Then tomorrow morning, my husband will get picked up from the Super 8 Motel and be taken to the dealership, to finish the car deal.

It sounds like the folks in Ames Iowa like to treat you pretty well. I thought that it was very considerate of the salesman to take it upon himself to do all of this.

Then after the deal is done and hopefully kindly filled with gas, then my husband will get in my new vehicle and drive back to the Moon.

And then about 9 hours later, a beautiful burgandy (foxfire red mica) 2001 Isuzu VehiCross will be parked here at our house, here on the moon.

I'm getting a VehiCross!.....I'm getting a VehiCross!!...I'm getting a VehiCross!!! Oh, did I tell you......? I'm getting a VehiCross!!!!

Oh, and did I mention how sweet that it is of my husband to fly and drive, all that way, just so I could get my VehiCross!!!

Oh, and did I mention that there were only 4153 of these rare beauties exported from Japan, between the years 1999 and 2001?

The VehiCross only came in limited colors, yellow being the most produced, then silver was the next, then white, then black, then green, and then the rarest color, is the one like mine, foxfire red mica. Only 120 in 2001 and 90 in 2000, were produced.

So I feel very lucky to find a 2001 foxfire red mica VehiCross with only 14,500 miles. Rare find....Rare find...

The man that owned the VehiCross had traded it in on a Chrysler CrossFire. He lived in a small town outside of Ames Iowa, and was the salesman's personal car insurance man.

The salesman, of course, knows the previous owner pretty well, and told me that he had four cars, no children, no pets, doesn't smoke or drink. So, I'm thinking that this VehiCross is in about the newest condition that you could possibly find a 2001 in.

Oh......did I mention that I'm getting a VehiCross!!!!! I'm soooooo excited.

Oh.... and just now, while I was finishing this blog, my husband just called me and said that he is sitting on the runway, in Des Moines!

Did I mention to you that....I am getting a VehiCross!!!!

Until we meet again.....Greetings and Salutations from the Moon............Lj

DIMES AND THE MOON

Today on the moon, I was surfing the net and found a couple of pretty crazy websites.

The first one that I found is at www.moonthewhitehouse.com where their mission is to.........well, it speaks for itself.

The second website that I found is at www.ihatedimes.com where this guy wants you to send all of your dimes to him, because he believes that dimes are the most worthless of all coins.

Well, I believe that the two dollar bill is pretty darn worthless too, so how about sending me all of those good-for-nothing pieces of paper. I mean can anyone even tell me the president thats on the front of it?

Oh, and let us not forget the Susan B. Anthony...I'd be more than happy to take those lousy old coins off your hands as well.

So, if you want to have a laugh.....go and check out these humorous websites and see what you think.

A FAVORITE BLOG SPOT

Here on the moon, I like to read other peoples blogs. So, at the top right of the page, I sometimes click on the "next blog" window.

I've seen and read many different blogs, all from different areas of the world and all about many different subjects.

I was so lucky to come across a very touching blog, written by a fabulous writer who writes about herself and her family, past and present. When you read her stories, she makes you feel as though you've known her and her family for years.

If you want to read wonderful stories that will touch your heart, please go and read a favorite blog spot of mine.... www.mrsbizzybsayshello.blogspot.com

Thanks again Mrs. B! You and your stories ROCK!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Today is June 5th, here on the moon, and I am celebrating a very special person's birthday. Today is my very sweet grandmother's birthday and she would have been 107 years old, being born in 1898.

She was my mother's mother and I grew up with her being very dear to my heart and me to hers. I always felt that we had a special connection, maybe because she always made me feel so special. She was such a loving, kind person that never met a stranger.

Back in the days of when my mother was growing up, my mother could remember times when my grandmother invited into her home people that were down on their luck, and fixing them a meal to eat. My grandmother really never had alot of money, but she did have a lot of compassion for others.

My mother was the only girl and had eight brothers, so you can imagine that my grandmother probably never had any time for herself. She had many grandchildren and we all loved her so very much.

Her nickname was "Ja Ja" and that's what all of us grandchildren and everyone called her, which was a name given to her by a little boy that she had kept for years, that couldn't pronounce her last name of Johnson.

So Happy Birthday Ja Ja!!! I love you so very, very much and miss you tremendously. You are still so very deep in my heart and always will be. You always made me feel that I was your favorite.

BLANK DVD'S FOR SALE!

You know, here on the moon, I find that there is no worse feeling than being "ripped off" by someone who you trusted to purchase an item from.

After ordering a set of dvd's from a seller in England, and waiting a couple of months, and many kind emails, for them to arrive, they finally did arrive, and then finding out that the dvd's don't work in my system, is a very aggravateing feeling. Not only were the dvd's a "burned off" copy, that I was aware of......the shipping charge was fricking enormous!

Not that it matters to anyone, but these dvd's were from a British television series, that of course is only aired in England, that I had been searching for, for months, and finally found an Ebay seller who had the dvd series for sale.

So I bought these with the "buy now" price and I was so excited! Well I waited and waited, checking the mail everyday for the couple of months for their arrival.

And of course, as the story goes......nothing arrived for that couple of months, so therefore, there had been too much time between transaction and actual dvd's in my hand to be able to file a complaint with Ebay and/or Paypal. "Whoop-dee-frickin' do!! "

So now I think that when you make the monetary change from "Our Lady, the Queen's English Pound" to our American dollar, I believe you have the beginnings of bad transaction right from the start. (Of course, it couldn't be as simple as the Euro. Oh hell no!)

After many emails to this seller about this problem, who always refers to me as "my friend", and so far never receiving an email back from him, I guess I can chalk this one up as a "learning experience". Damn, what a way to have to learn. I hate those kind of learning experiences!!

So beware Ebay buyers! There are some real crooks out there, that don't care at all about their "bloomin" buyers or their "bloody" reputation.

(now if for some odd reason, if this Ebay seller gains a conscience and replies to the email I sent him AGAIN this morning, and responds in a way that will fix this problem, I will write and let everyone know.)

BUT, in the meantime.........don't hold your breath.........and neither will I!........ God save the Queen and God speed!
